Man stabbed on way home from disco

CEBU - A 20-year-old man was stabbed by an unidentified person while he was on his way home from a benefit dance held in sitio Kalmar, barangay Lawaan I, Talisay City last Sunday at around 3 a.m.

 The victim was identified as Niadas Jimson Sigue, a resident of sitio Sombria, Lawaan II of said city.

Initial investigation conducted by PO2 Jun Dave David of the Talisay City Police Station disclosed that Sigue was stabbed in his left chest.

His companions rushed him to the Talisay City District Hospital, but he was later transferred to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.

The assailant fled after the incident.
