Man loses cellular phone after failing to pay for sex
CEBU - A man who allegedly refused to pay the P500 service fee of a commercial sex worker lost his mobile phone to the friend of the woman.
Roy Villaceran of Pagsabungan, Mandaue City reported to the Carbon Police Station past 2 a.m. yesterday that a boyish friend of the commercial sex worker had taken his Nokia 1100 cell phone while he was arguing with the woman, whose services he had availed of earlier, near the Golden Palace Building along Osmeña Boulevard in barangay Kalubihan.
Immediately, elements of the Carbon Police and the Mobile Patrol Group picked up the 21-year-old commercial sex worker and her 48-year-old lesbian friend.
PO2 Elbert Juaneza said that in the course of the investigation, it was learned that Villaceran took the commercial sex worker to a nearby lodge agreeing to pay her P500 service fee.
But when the act was consummated, Villaceran, who was reportedly drunk during that time, no longer wanted to pay despite pleas by the commercial sex worker.
When they were already out on the street and still arguing, the friend of the woman learned of the problem and immediately borrowed Villaceran’s cell phone but did not anymore return the item to him.
The woman and her friend were detained at the Carbon Police Station.
However later yesterday, Villaceran went back and signified his intention not to file charges anymore against the two.
Juaneza believes that both parties agreed that the cell phone already served as payment for the services of the commercial sex worker. — Ferliza C. Contratista/MEEV (THE FREEMAN)
