CCPO receives donated lot for Adlaon precinct
CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) has officially received a donation intended for the Police Community Precinct (PCP) in Barangay Adlaon.
Led by Police Colonel Antonietto Cañete, the CCPO formally signed and accepted the Deed of Donation from the donor, Paterna Go, as reported by the City's Public Information Office (PIO) yesterday.
The signing took place at the CCPO Conference Room, Camp Sotero Cabahug, Gorordo Ave., Cebu City.
The Adlaon PCP’s jurisdiction not only covers Barangay Adlaon, but also its neighboring barangays, including Tabonan, Paril, Taptap, Guba, Lusaran, Cambinocot, and Tagbao.
The CCPO stated that this development marks a significant step toward enhancing public safety, particularly in the mountainous barangays of Cebu City.
By improving the operational capabilities of the CCPO, the donation will help strengthen efforts to combat crime and provide timely police services in remote areas.
Cebu City, as a highly urbanized city, is entitled to approximately 20 police stations, but currently only has 11. — (FREEMAN)
