-

CEBU - Five employees of the Cebu City Traffic Operations Management were injured when the dump truck they were boarding hit a big tree around 6 p.m. yesterday in sitio Dam, barangay Buhisan.

Citom workers Chito Cabo, Alex Baguio, Benjie Gutierrez, Rocardo Abais and Charlie Aninipoc, who are all assigned at the Engineering Section, sustained minor injuries during the incident.

Report said the brakes of the Isuzu damp truck, bearing plate number SDC-730 and was driven Abais, malfunctioned. This prompted the vehicle to hit a concrete electric post and a big tree.

The incident caused a temporary power outage in the area. – Niña Chrismae G. Sumacot/MEEV (THE FREEMAN)
