SSS pays for locational fee of its new building

The Social Security System’s locational clearance for its building construction is already being processed after they paid for the processing fee last Thursday.

The management started complying with the requirements ahead of the issuance of the notice of violation that was served yesterday by the Cebu City Planning Office.  The notice of violation directs the company to stop the construction until permits are presented.

According to the Zoning department of the Cebu City Planning and Development Center, the SSS management through its branch manager, Helen Solito, has already paid P112,388 for the zoning fee and P1,124 for the legal research pay.

The contractor of the building, Oaminal Construction, has also submitted the revised plan of the building’s parking slots.  But the Zoning Office is still waiting for the complete plans as they sent incomplete ones.

According to Erwin Tapere of the City Zoning department, the building exceeded the required number of parking slots.  The city requires 100 parking slots only while there are 108 parking slots to be made as indicated in the new plan.

The 11-million worth project along Osmeña Blvd. is supposed to house the SSS-Cebu branch Office.
