Burglar hits doc’s house

A female doctor lost at least P60,000 worth of cash and other belongings when an unidentified man broke into her house along P. del Rosario Extension, barangay Sambag II yesterday dawn.

The man entered into the house of Dr. Thelma Virtuco, 68, by destroying five jalousie blades of the window, police said.

Police investigation said the burglar took Virtuco’s brown shoulder bag containing P22,000 worth cellular phone, P42,000 cash, passports and a bankbook.

Personnel from the Thief and Robbery Section of Cebu City Police Office are now conducting investigation to identify the burglar. - Princess Mondejar
