Four restaurants along Salinas Drive face closure for violating zoning law

Notices of violation were sent to Goodah Gud, Salinas Grill Restaurant, Dhara Tapsilogan and AA-BBQ Restaurant.
The city planning office said the four establishments have allegedly violated the item on Parking and Loading Space Requirements when their parking spaces were utilized into dining areas.
In the notices, the city planning office required the four establishments to explain within 15 days why their permits should not be revoked because of the violation.
“In view of the foregoing, within fifteen days upon receipt hereof, you are hereby directed to explain in writing why your business, building, and occupancy permits and other clearances will not be revoked and also submit the site development plans of your establishment for further evaluation and assessment,” the notice reads.
The city planning office further said that the operations of the said establishments could be temporarily stopped should the establishments fail to comply with the notices.
“Should you fail to comply with the above, pending resolution of your violation subject to the penalties set forth by law, you are hereby directed to temporarily refrain from continuing your business operations without the necessary parking space requirements,” — Joeberth M. Ocao/QSB
