Man relieving self shot dead
A man was shot dead while he was moving his bowels at the seashore last Sunday evening in sitio Bulubugan, barangay Tajao, Pinamungajan town.
Romeo Guanzon, 28, a rest house caretaker, was with his wife and their two kids at the time. All were moving their bowels when the suspect who was identified as Ronnie Birao, 26, also a resident of the said place passed by.
However, when Birao approached, the victim was alerted and turned on his flashlight, pointing it at the suspect’s face. The assailant got angry, pulled out a gun and aimed it at the victim.
The victim raised both hands and pleaded with Birao not to harm them, but Birao shot him in the chest anyway.
“Wa pa man sad gani to makasuot sa iyang purol ang biktima sa dihang gipusil sa suspect,” PO2 Peter Cuanso of the Pinamungajan police said.

The Pinamungajan police led by SPO2 Delicio Esconde later arrested Birao in his house but they failed to recover the gun he used to shoot the victim.
