Guv named one of 12 ‘best dressed’ women

Governor Gwendolyn Garcia is one of 12 women in the country to be honored for being “best dressed”.

The others are Connie Guanzon-Garcia, Dawn Zulueta-Lagdameo, Virginia “Bebot” Laurel, Lucille Carlos-Locsin, Thess Managanti, Sandie Castro-Poblador, Sally Ponce Enrile, Cristina Gonzales-Romualdez, Elma Santander, Lulu Tan-Gueta and Rhodora “Doyee” Tumpalan. 

These women hailed “best dressed” will be awarded in a ceremony tonight at the Rizal Ballroom of Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City. In a fashion show, the ladies will don long gowns in floral motif.

The event is organized by San Miguel Corporation and Lifestyle Asia for the benefit of the Philippine Cancer Society.

The selection committee was composed of Philippine Cancer Society chairperson Imelda Cojuangco, fashion czar Jose “Pitoy” Moreno, Architect Gerry Contreras, Helen Ong, and TV host/columnist Johnny Litton.  —  Garry B. Lao/MEEV
