An American couple lost more than P100,000 worth of cash and jewelry to burglars who ransacked the room of their rented house at Canton Ville in barangay San Isidro, Talisay City Saturday afternoon.
Talisay City police investigators said the couple, William and Loni Stefen, arrived home to discover that their room was in disarray, and that their P8,000 cash and several pieces of jewelry were stolen. The police noted that the burglars climbed over the concrete fence then detached four jalousie blades of a window to gain entry into the house.
