Computers, tools turned over to Mandaue City

-
The Mandaue City government has accepted the multimillion-peso equipment that the Urban Practical Livelihood Instruction for Today has donated after UPLIFT programs that began in 1999 had expired.

The donated equipment includes computers, sewing machines and other automotive mechanics and electrical tools, as well as some dressmaking materials.

UPLIFT programs had provided skills training for Mandauehanons wherein 2,300 had graduated on various trainings in 2005.

Programs provided skills training on cosmetology, computer literacy, dressmaking, refrigeration and air conditioning, automotive and practical electricity.

In view of this, the city government has expressed its gratitude to the International Mission Board-Southern Baptist Convention, Inc. for the implementation of the UPLIFT program in the city.

The IMBSBCI is tasked to spread the mission to bring all the people of the world to saving faith in Jesus Christ. - Mitchelle P. Calipayan
