An American who alleged lost his cellular phone inside a convenience store in barangay Busay yesterday dawn, came to blows with people he accused of stealing it.
Ronald Lynn Napes went to the Theft and Robbery Section to say that some customers of the convenience store beat him up. He had bruises to back his claims.
Police investigation showed that the customers resented Napes' accusations and ganged up on him when Napes started pointing at practically everybody for stealing it.
Napes' phone cost P12,800. During the melee, Napes lost another phone, but the police recovered it later.
