Regional peace council holds anti-terror sem

The Regional Peace and Order Council started yesterday the first team building seminar workshop on law enforcement to bolster the campaign against terrorism.

Held at the Midtown Hotel, the three-day seminar was participated in by all government agencies in the region.

Upon welcoming the participants, Governor Gwendolyn Garcia, the RPOC chair, said there is a need for government agencies to unite against all forms of terrorism, which "knows no geographical boundaries."

"Our goal must be to come together, to integrate our resources at the regional level, to enlarge, to strengthen, to broaden, and to widen this united front that we hope to put up against this menacing threat," Garcia said.

During the first day of the seminar, participants were taught on how to develop good interpersonal relationship. - Fred P. Languido
