Dead man found in barangay Busay

A dead man with an image of a scorpion tattooed on his right chest was found already in a state of decomposition in barangay Busay Friday noon.
The man was identified as Joselito Bordalba, 36, a resident of Wireless, Mandaue City. His body bore gunshot wounds on the forehead and back. Near Bordalba's body, police found a video compact disc of Jean Claude Van Damme's "Sudden Death" movie. A 15-year-old boy, who stumbled upon the body while hunting for spiders, informed T/Sgt. Dalmacio Espera who reported the discovery to the Homicide Section of the city police.
Other pieces of evidence found in the area were a black wallet, the driver's license of the victim, certificate of registration with the name of Dionisio Abrea, and a stick of cigarette.
Homicide investigator Alex Dacua said unless the police are able to determine the background of the victim, they cannot speculate on the motive for the killing. - Ryan P. Borinaga
