2 men on motorcycle killed in road accident

Two men on board a speeding motorcycle died after they were side-swept by a speeding van along the national highway of barangay Libho,Tabogon town last Saturday afternoon.
The two casualties were identified as Victor Radaza and Joel Amorin of barangay Gun-ob, Lapu-Lapu City.
The motorcycle with plate number GN-3194 owned by Radaza was reportedly in total wreck. The van, with plate number GCL-515, is owned by Gamaa Foods of Ilaya, Dumanjug town and was driven by a certain Isabelo Canoy.
Radaza, whose head hit the pavement first, died on the spot. His companion Joel Lamorin was pronounced dead on arrival at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center for fractured bones.
According to PO1 Ronnie Alivio of the Tabogon Police, the speeding motorcycle overtook a car upon reaching barangay Libho, but was side-swept by the speeding van.
Canoy voluntarily surrendered to the Tabogon Police. He is now detained at the station.
