Khana: A Celebration of Indian Cuisine

Ms. Judeline Murjani, culinary consultant on Indian cuisine of Cebu Marco Polo Plaza, has done it again when Marco Polo celebrated the Festival of Lights with the rich and vibrant flavors of India at Marco Polo Plaza. Yesiree, Marco Polo Plaza brought again for the third year Khana… a celebration of Indian cuisine.

 

From November 7 to 11, presented were delectable Indian dishes at Café Marco as the restaurant explored India through Khana.  Khana means “food” in Hindi, and India has one of the world`s most colorful and diverse cuisines. Bringing her repertoire of skills and experience to the Café Marco kitchen, Ms. Murjani has been doing this with Marco Polo for three years now; together with Café Marco`s award winning chefs, they created a delectable Indian feast served on top of the resto`s international buffet spread.

Served during the feast were delicious and authentic Indian dishes like Chili Pakoora, Pulao Biryani, the succulent Lamb Shish Kebab and Raan. And last but not least, everyone was digging into the fest were several Indian sweets at the dessert buffet. For those who came up to Marco Polo Plaza to celebrate the Festival of Lights, they had experienced a wonderful culinary journey, savoring the authentic taste of India…only at Marco Polo Plaza!
