For a deeper understanding and appreciation of one of God's greatest gifts to humanity, namely sexual relationships, the Sacred Heart Parish is inviting youth (teenager and older) to a program of Sex, Love and the Youth, (based on the program of Sister Kieran Sawyer, S.S.N.D.)
The Program deals with relationships. Our topics include: Today's Youth and Their Choices; L.I.F.E. : Love, Infatuation, Friendship, Exploitation; Dating Choices; The Choice: To Do or Not to do It; The Un-Choice: Teenage Pregnancy; No Easy Choices: Adoptions, Teen Marriage, Teen Parenting, Abortion; Contraception: Is it a Safe Choice?; Setting Limits: A Personal Choice; A Criminal Choice: Sexual Abuse; A Non-Choice: Sexual Orientation; Forgiveness: A Healing Choice; Love Choices; And Epilogue: Created for Love.
The registration for this program is free.
But we would request those who are interested to register at the Parish Resource Center to help us prepare the right number of materials.
The session begins at 2:30 P.M. on August 19 at the Sacred Heart Audio-Visual Room (AVR).
