CEBU, Philippines - It’s a festival fever indeed! For the whole month of January, Ayala Center Cebu will be holding different kinds of entertainment and activities for this year’s Sinulog.
In honor of Cebu City ’s patron saint, Sto. Niño, there will be a display of the different images of Sto. Niño from January 6-17 at the Exhibit area II (located between Celine and Kamiseta).
From January 6-14, the Balik Cebu Booth will be open at the Rotunda 1 (fronting Rustan’s). Tourists can visit the booth for inquiries regarding the Sinulog and can also purchase tickets for the Suroy-suroy sa Sugbo, Sunulog Grand Stand, Balik Cebu Welcome Dinner and Pasiyo sa Kabilin Heritage Tour.
An exhibit of fashionable Sinulog attire will also take place on January 6-16. Souvenirs and Cebu ’s delicacies will also be made available during the exhibit.
On January 9-11, Sinulog Dancers will parade in the mall with the familiar beat of the Sinulog to drum up the Sinulog fever.
On January 11, get the chance to be serenaded by one of the country’s sought after bands, Spongecola, and some of Cebu ’s top bands like CHA-Ching and Pandora at the JP Morgan Pre-Sinulog Party at the Terraces.
Balik Cebu, the annual party for Balikbayans who will be celebrating Sinulog will also be held on January 12, 5PM, at the Terraces.
Witness some of GMA’s brightest stars as they perform live on January 13, 5pm for a Kapuso Night at the Terraces.
Be entertained by some Kapamilya stars at the Kapamilya Fiesta Caravan on January 14 at the Terraces.
Party all day on January 15 as the up and coming artist, Somedaydream performs live at the Activity Center at 5pm, followed by the country’s No.1 party destination, Republiq, at the Terraces, 8pm for an unforgettable Sinulog Dance Party.
