CEBU, Philippines - Sacred Heart Hospital, in cooperation with Southwestern University, will be holding Fine Strokes: Sublime Works of Art of a Cebuano Painter, a display of select works of painter Roberto M. Agas, this August 13, 2 PM at the SHH Lobby.
The display of wondrous art, which will last over six months, will set a new dimension in patient services by providing a cool and humanized atmosphere amidst the sterile surfaces of SHH. Over 40 paintings, depicting the everyday labors of the Cebuano and Cebu’s rich tapestry of architecture and history, will be displayed for patients and art aficionados to savor and enjoy. SHH Administrator, Dr. Grace N. Valdez and SWU President Dr. Elsa A. Suralta, will lead the whole SHH – SWU community in the ribbon – cutting and first viewing of the works.
Those interested in some of the unique pieces can take them home and the proceeds will benefits the charitable activities of Sacred Heart Hospital. (FREEMAN)
