Fantastic Fusions

CEBU, Philippines - With a breathtaking view of the city, Café Gloria opens its doors as the chefs unveiled their fusion of local and international cuisine last July 9 at the San Remigio Pensionne Suites, Mabolo.

The event was overseen by Mark Anthony Ynoc, General Manager of Café Gloria, as well as San Remigio Beach Club Sports and Leisure Resort and San Remigio Pensionne Suites. He explained how their restaurant has a certain edge—they offer good home cooking in a fine dining ambiance. With a mix of Asian, European and American dishes, Café Gloria stands out as a must-go for tourists and locals alike.

At dinner time, guests headed to the buffet table filled with scrumptious food. To complete the perfect setting, a live band provided entertainment as everyone dug in and enjoyed the food. According to Café Gloria’s resident chef, Chef Reggie Aquino, their food has a certain “kick” at first taste.

To get everyone’s blood pumping into a party mood, cocktails earlier were served at The Hangover Mobile Bar. There was also the Sky Lanterns Display which awed the spectators.

Aside from the food, drinks and live entertainment, Café Gloria has two Karaoke rooms that can fit up to 12 persons. They also have packages where tourists can feel both the Cebuano urban and rural life. As Mark Ynoc puts it, they certainly “feed on our functions”.
