CEBU, Philippines - The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrated its 45th founding anniversary via an appreciation night for its past presidents and awarding of the chamber benefactors. Held at the plush Radisson Blu Hotel’s Santa Maria Ballroom last December 15, for the first time, MCCI under the leadership of its dynamic chair Eric Mendoza, gathered the chamber’s past presidents and recognized their laudable contributions to the local industry. The event was also a celebration for the grand slam award as the Most Outstanding Chamber in the Visayas for the past three consecutive years, making it to the Hall of Fame of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI). MCCI also launched its partnership with Gawad Kalinga (GK) for a project in Maguikay, Mandaue City, to build a Multi Purpose Building as part of MCCI’s CSR Program. There was a silent auction of valuable items donated by renowned personalities to raise the much needed funds for the said project. Lastly, the MCCI commissioned theme song “My Mandaue” was officially launched. The song is composed by Gino Salvador of Anysound Production Studios with lyrics by Kaye Alfafara.
