When we celebrate Christmas, we remember the most precious gift the world has ever known…the gift of God’s only Son, JESUS CHRIST. This is the gift we celebrate joyously through worship, songs, and prayers. For us, we pray that this Christmas would be a joyful one, especially for those who have less in life. Merry Christmas to you all and God bless us all!
Speaking of celebration, we had a marvelous time celebrating Halloween Night. For the kids in America, Halloween is celebrated more happily than Thanksgiving Day. This is the day where almost everyone dons colorful costumes in various designs, eerie and spooky, and some, the likes of Batman, Superman, Ninja and the girls, in princess, witches, and Jezebel, and what have you. We had a lot of fun, especially the children.
Going back to Christmas, this question arises…what is Christmas? Here is a piece by Roxie Smith….Christmas isn’t just a starry night, or snowflakes on the ground; it isn’t just a merry heart, with good friends gathered ‘round. It isn’t just a Christmas tree, or gifts that play the part; but Love and Peace the season brings, to touch the seeking heart!
