Coring Cermeño Valencia, founder of the Catholic Volunteers for Charity Movement of the Guadalupe Church, celebrated her 80th birthday at the Granada Room of Casino Español de Cebu.
Red was the motif of the party, which symbolizes prosperity. The momentous occasion started with an invocation by Msgr. Carlito Pono followed by an inspiration message by Honorary Consul of Spain Don Jaime Picornell. Guests enjoyed the beautiful music, dinner and the short video presentation of Coring’s life. Atty. Dindo Perez offered the ceremonial toast.
Coring C. Valencia is blessed with 11 children, namely Marivic V. Perez, Enrique, Silviano, Susan, Emily, Ubaldo Jr., Christina V. Climaco, Jose Marie, Agnes V. Walling of Lowell Mass, USA, Rosemarie V. Ballesteros of Corpus Christi, Texas, USA, and Martin of East Hampton, CF, USA.
