CEBU, Philippines - Are you among the many who dream of dining at The Gustavian? Well, it’s time to turn that dream into a reality with The Gustavian’s exciting new menu.
Chef Robert Lilja, the brains behind The Gustavian, has prepared an exciting new menu that features dishes that reflect the high quality and standard of The Gustavian but are affordable and easy on the budget.
“We have a fantastic new menu. We are still doing the classic continental food but we have devised a very nice light menu for today’s customer,” shared Chef Robert.
Highlighting the new Gustavian menu are popular dishes that have been given a light twist by Chef Robert and team. “Most classic continental dishes are considered comfort food. So when you taste our dishes here, you will be reminded of home and you would want to make a quick phone call to mama,” added Chef Robert.
Among the new items to watch out for in The Gustavian’s new menu are deli meals like Callos for only P170 per serving; Fabada, bean stew with chorizo, smoked ham and Morsilla sausage for only P170; Goulash Soup, a rich tomato and beef soup for only P140; Swedish Meatballs with beef, mashed potato and lingomberries for only P180; and Sliced Corned Beef, tender slices of brisket with cabbage, parsley and tomato for only P190.
Among the choices for main course are the Homemade Sausage Platter for only P330 and the G Burger, 100 percent Aussie Beef with smoked ham, Swiss cheese, red beets coleslaw and thick-cut fries, for only P240.
Chef Robert is also very proud of his Spanish/Filipino Family Meals because he was able to play around with the names of the dishes to give these a new twist. Try the Big Bang, Chef Robert’s take on the bangus with tomato salsa and singkamas salad for P240; Charlie’s Angels, the chef’s version of kinilaw with shrimps, squid, Lapu-Lapu, patis, calamansi and green mango for only P270; Valencia Riverside Spinach, Chef Robert’s take on the very famous laing with coconut milk and truffle oil for only P170; and Piggy Bank, the chef’s take on lechon kawali for only P390.
Starting last November 9, all outlets of The Gustavian also started their Buffet Extravaganza where one can have a meal consisting of two soups and European breads for only P150. For P250, one can already enjoy the soup station, the salad bar and the bread station; for P350, one can enjoy the soup station, the salad bar, the bread station and the appetizer station; and for P450, one can enjoy the full buffet.
