Kadaugan sa Mactan Foodfest

CEBU, Philippines - Foodies had the time of their lives eating first class hotel food at affordable prices during the weeklong Kadaugan sa Mactan Food Festival.

Barangay Mactan chairman and Lapu-Lapu City first lady Paz Radaza welcomed the members of the media who were invited to sample the different dishes offered during the food fest.

Waterfront Mactan General Manager Hembler Mendoza, chairman of this year’s food festival, said that a total of 28 hotels, resorts and restaurants participated in the food fest and each booth provided different kinds of food. “We agreed that the event should showcase the best of hotel and restaurant food,” he said.

Among the delectable food that we tasted were Pasta Marinara from Cebu White Sands and Stir Fried Noodles from Plantation Bay. Hotels and restaurants in the city also took turns in providing nightly entertainment for the weeklong food fest.
