Waterfront Lahug’s Japanese Restaurant Cooks Up a Storm

-

Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino’s Mizu restaurant offers you the chance to choose your dinner not from a menu but from a live cooking station every Saturday night for the whole month of March from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A sashimi station is available with highlights on tuna and salmon sashimi at P200.00. Sashimi, traditionally considered the finest dish in Japanese cuisine, is generally eaten before other dishes with stronger flavors that can affect the palate.

You can then point and pick at specialties in the kara-age and yakimono stations, and watch the chefs cook your dish right in front of you. Kara-age refers to Japanese-style fried meats, and Mizu’s Live Cooking Station offers a chicken kara-age at P105.00, ebi tempura at P165.00, and assorted tempura at P110.00. The yakimono station offers grilled chicken balls at P50.00 per order, and grilled beef at P95.00 per order.

With a 170 seating-capacity zen-luxe environment, including 4 private rooms and a teppanyaki room, Mizu offers a diversity of experiences – it is a gathering place for lunch and dinner offering authentic Japanese cuisine, it boasts of an array of enticing desserts, an extensive collection of premium wines and spirits, including sake.

Mizu is open daily for lunch from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm, and for dinner from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm. For reservations, please contact 232-6888 local 8609 or 8201. Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino is located at Salinas Drive, Lahug.
