I still feel the rich colors of gowns in organdy, silk, taffeta and Chantilly lace as Femina Club ladies glided up the grand staircase of the old Casino Español building to the Main Ballroom on the second floor. Dapper too were the Bachelors Club gentlemen in their tuxedoes and barongs.
It was a luxurious night to end the year with an equally luxurious event – the BF Ball with the regal rigodon de honor. The dance was participated in by the clubs’ officers and select members, with the Mamas and Papas of the year. On December 28, the rigodon will be danced again….with much glamour and grace.
