"O" MAC

The whole of our island paradise of Cebu is abuzz with the upcoming ASEAN Summit. Everybody's saying that it will perk up our economy and put Cebu in focus in the international arena. What with the worldwide press covering every nook and cranny. In full gear is Cebu's fashion industry.

So far, though I'm not allowed to spill out every detail, M.A.C.>Models Association of Cebu is booked for a series of shows and events everyday during the ASEAN Summit in places like Shangri-La's Mactan Island Resort & Spa, Malacañang Palace of the South, the Provincial Capitol and among others.

Featured in these spread are some of M.A.C.'s top print and runway models as photographed by Jon Unson and styled by Romero Vergara. From the celebrated book "O", these visually appealing (and intriguing) images are proof enough that Cebu has a lot to offer when fashion is concerned. We have the best designers in the country, not to mention the whole world, as Monique Lhuillier (who incidentally wowed the Manila crème de la crème with her stand-out collection recently), is from Cebu with Mdme. Amparito Lhuillier as her stylish maman.
