It was the highest honor achieved by a Filipina and by an Asian in the 25-year history of the world competition. The willowy lass from Laguna is living a jet-setting lifestyle ever since.

The first step to that modeling dream is to join the nationwide screenings on these dates: July 15 (Bacolod Executive Inn), July 16 (Hotel del Rio, Iloilo), July 22 (Baybayon Hotel, Dumaguete), July 23 (Fernandos Hotel, Bicol), July 29 (Golden Peak Hotel and Suites, Gorrordo Avenue cor Escario St. Cebu), July 30 (Marco Polo Hotel, Davao), August 5 (Holiday Inn, Clark Field, Pampanga), and August 6 (Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila, Ortigas).

Just like Charo, the local winner will get a one-year modeling contract with CalCarries International Models and a roundtrip ticket (with pocket money) to New York to represent the country in the World Supermodel finals for a shot at bagging $250,000 worth of modeling contract from Ford Models.
