Aside from being a venue to express aristic freedom in the form of dance, Mantawi poses as a historical, legendary, mimetic and religious offering rolled into one. Thus, the many interpretaions geared towards the making of the dance presentations - no two entries may look quite alike. Along with Dumanjug, Surigao and the many other contingents joining this year's parade of hopefuls, will be Sarok festival winner Cabangahan National High School whose dance routine shall be reinvented and polished to qualify along the guidelines of Mantawi.
Mantawi utilizes four basic steps and figures mimetic to that of the movements of a vine. The main theme would be the highlight of the celebration of thanksgiving for Señor San Jose, the same patron saint to that of the Municipality of San Francisco, Camotes, with their celebration of the Soli-Soli festival.
