Taylor Swift’s bro lands first movie role

The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - Taylor Swift, 25, broke the news on Instagram that her younger sibling, 23, will be making his movie debut. “My brother @austinkingsleyswift just acted in his first movie and I’m all proud and stuff,” Taylor gushed.

The photo showed Austin looking all kinds of hunky in a white button-down shirt while seated in a retro-looking car.

The movie reportedly is a thriller called “I.T.,” which, according to Deadline, is about a successful businessman, played by Pierce Brosnan, who finds himself at war with a disgruntled I.T. consultant. No word on whether Austin plays the crazy computer guy. The film also stars Disney Channel’s Stefanie Scott.

In May,  Austin graduated from Notre Dame and Taylor flew out to South Bend, Indiana, to cheer him on. She also headed to campus in November 2014 when she skipped the MTV Europe Music Awards in order to see Austin perform in the school’s production of the play Six Characters in Search of an Author. The close-in-age pair often like to remind each other that they grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania.

Rubbing elbows with Hollywood types will be no problem for Austin, who has accompanied his sis to many big events including the Golden Globes and Billboard Awards. He is also part of her #squad, hanging with her A-list pals at her beach house and beyond through the years.

Sounds like Austin will have no shortage of support as he follows in Taylor’s footsteps trying to become a star. (FREEMAN)
