Marjorie admits she’s the woman in sexy photos

CEBU, Philippines - Marjorie Barretto has admitted that she is the woman posing nude in the photos that have been making the rounds in the social network, and vows to sue the people who posted them.

Marjorie had initially denied that she was the woman in the photos, but she changed her tune after her own lawyer confirmed it was indeed her.

Atty. Lorna Kapunan said last week Marjorie is “very upset” that the photos turned up on the Internet. “She has growing up daughters and her concern is they are in the formative years where they understand,” the lawyer said.

The scandalous pictures have thrown more fuel into the raging Barretto family feud. In clips of interviews with Korina Sanchez that is scheduled to air today, Marjorie said “a lot of damage has been done” to the family by the bitter strife involving her mother Inday and her siblings.

The feud has escalated to include Marjorie’s daughter, Julia, a budding actress.  A remark on Instagram, attributed to Marjorie’s sis Gretchen, notes that another sibling, Claudine, does not favor Julia’s career in showbiz.

Marjorie and Gretchen have joined forces against Claudine, who is being defended by mom Inday.

Former Miss Universe bet and now TV host Venus Raj has parted ways with her BF Andrei Felix after a one-year relationship.

"Yes it's true," Venus tweeted last week.

It was Venus who reportedly asked for the break-up over the phone.

It’s too bad the relationship had to end. Andrei is said to be in the good graces of Venus’ mother, Esther Bayonito.

Venus denied she was influenced by the earlier split of another Miss Universe candidate, Janine Tugonon. Janine called it quits with Jaypee Santos last month. The buzz is that the break-up was triggered by reports that Janine has taken an interest in the Irish rock band The Script's lead vocalist Danny O'Donoghue.

Randy Jackson, the remaining original judge in "American Idol," is quitting the show after 12 years.

"Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on American Idol I have decided it is time to leave after this season," Randy told E! News last week.

Together with Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell, Randy sat as a judge when American Idol debuted in 2002.

The show has been suffering from poor ratings recently and has never regained the huge popularity it enjoyed during the early seasons.

There are reports that the rest of this year’s judges – Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Keith Urban – won’t be returning to the show either.

Randy, a record producer, said he wanted to focus on his company, Dream Merchant 21.

With Randy gone, host Ryan Seacrest becomes the last of the original American Idol cast.

The autopsy on Michael Jackson has revealed fascinating facts about the pop icon almost four years after his death.

A Los Angeles court heard testimony last week that Michael’s lips was tattooed pink, his eyebrows were permanently inked and that he suffered from a skin pigmentation disease.

The coroner’s report was given by Dr. Christopher Rogers during proceedings for a case brought by the singer’s family against his tour promoter, AEG, for negligence.

According to Rogers, Michael’s skin became lighter because of vitiligo, which causes a discoloration of the skin.

He also said the singer would have carried on a normal life and lived longer had he not overdosed on propofol, a powerful sedative.

Jackson’s physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, is facing manslaughter charges for allegedly giving the superstar a dose of propofol.

The Jackson family is accusing AEG, which was preparing Michael’s comeback concert, This Is It, of failing to supervise Murray.
