"XXX" paves way for church to act on night clubbing priest

CEBU, Philippines - ABS-CBN’s investigative program and recent Volunteer Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) Awards’ Best TV show, “XXX,” once again roused authorities to take action against the priest who was caught on-cam going to a night club in Quezon City.

Days after the program aired an expose on Rev. Fr. Bong Guerrero, church leaders immediately responded and implemented necessary sanction on the priest. What consequences await Fr. Bong? Find out in Julius Babao’s follow-up report tonight on “XXX.”

The show will continue to expose wrong-doings in society this week with other reports from anchors Pinky Webb and Anthony Taberna.

Pinky will help three elderly women who, until now, haven’t received their pension from the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO). They requested for the monetary support eight months ago but until now, PVAO hasn’t granted them their request.

Meanwhile, Anthony will investigate an online site called “piso bid” where products are being sold through bidding. Complainants said that since June, the site hasn’t given any of the winnings even though they have already paid for their shipping fee.
