CEBU, Philippines - After almost four successful months of airing, the heartwarming series about the life of a good teenage witch, ALICE BUNGISNGIS, marks its end today.
Originally the program was supposed to end by May but was given two-week extension for its continuous victory in the ratings game.
At present, the program continues to maintain leadership in its timeslot. According to the more widely recognized industry ratings supplier Nielsen TV Audience Measurement, based on average household audience share in Urban Luzon covering the whole month of May (May 27 - 31 based on overnight ratings), GMA’s Alice Bungisngis registered 33.1 share points against its competing program Wako Wako’s 23.7 and ABS-CBN’s newest program Aryanna’s 28.5 share points.
Also, the program continues its victory in Mega Manila, which now comprises 59 percent of total television households nationwide. Alice Bungisngis garnered 33.7 share points versus Wako Wako’s 22.7 and Aryanna’s 27.0 share points.
In the last two episodes, Alice finds the need to unleash the witch within her in order to save herself and her loved ones.
Up to what extent is she willing to cast spells just to fight for her loved ones? Will love and goodness triumph over the power of darkness? And will Alice (Bea Binene) and Ace (Jake Vargas) be given a chance to pursue their love for one another?
Under the helm of respected director Mark Reyes, don’t miss the exciting finale of ALICE BUNGISNGIS, before 24 Oras on GMA 7. (FREEMAN)
