CEBU, Philippines - Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera’s characters in the original drama, My Beloved, get embroiled in a shocking family crisis that put their relationship in jeopardy.
After eloping on the day of their respective weddings, Benjie (Dingdong) and Sharina (Marian) must now face the consequences of their forbidden love affair. Emmie (Katrina Halili) is firm on seeking revenge and asked Gimo’s (Paolo Contis) help to find the lovers. Because of the immediate advice of Tikyo (Marky Lopez), Benjie and Sharina were able to escape and found refuge at a beach resort.
The star-crossed lovers’ woes continue with the appearance of the mystery woman who would always secretly follow Sharina and Monica (Jennica Garcia). This woman, who apparently works at the resort, is no less than Perla (Sharmaine Arnaiz), their real mother who abandoned them many years ago. Will Sharina soften her heart towards Perla and give her mother a second chance?
Meanwhile, Benjie and Rico’s (Alden Richards) father Crisanto (Cris Villanueva) is back to make peace with them. But his intention to reconcile with his sons did not happen smoothly because Lola Inggay (Nova Villa) and Rico remain hostile to him. Rico sets off to warn Benjie about Crisanto’s real identity. But everyone will be surprised to find out that Benjie’s father and the lover of Sharina’s mother is one and the same person!
How will Benjie and Sharina deal with the shocking revelation on the identities of their parents? Will this discovery further strain their relationship?
