CEBU, Philippines - The San Carlos Seminary College Choir will present a two-hour choral concert that will showcase a largely Cebuano numbers, with others in the religious and classical vein and in English. It runs for two evenings only – March 3 and 4 – at St. Therese’s College Auditorium, 7:30pm. Also featured is the work of assistant director Fr. Benny Tao and choreographers Benjie Diola, Helen Grace Abao and Val Sandiego.
Cebuano songs of the newer vintage are the main repertoire, thus making the show a rarity among choral presentations. It also marks the 40th or Ruby Anniversary of the San Carlos Seminary College – aptly performed by 40 singers in the choir.
Tickets and reservations at San Carlos Seminary College and St. Therese’s College offices. Tickets are priced at P300 and P100. (FREEMAN)
