SM City Cebu Presents Korean Film Festival

CEBU, Philippines - SM City Cebu supports the Cebu City government’s declaration of October 1 as Korean Day as a way of recognizing the Korean settlers and tourists in the city.

The City Council declares every first Saturday of October as Korean Day for the Korean community in Cebu City to showcase their customs and tradition to enable the Cebuanos to understand them better.

Movies with themes on love, the film fest also happens in SM Mall of Asia and in SM City North Edsa.

A Korean Film Festival happens at SM Cinema One in SM City Cebu beginning September 28. A reception with Korean Embassy officials and Cebu’s Korean Association happen at the cinema lobby to be followed by a premier screening of the movie Scandal Maker at 1:30PM. Eternal Hearts and Happy Life follow at 7:30pm and 9:30pm respectively.

Hwang Jin Yi will be shown at 5:30pm to be followed by Christmas in August at 7:30pm and Secret Reunion at 9:30pm on September 29. Eternal Hearts and My Dear Enemy will be shown at 5:30pm and 7:30pm respectively, while Scandal Maker will again be shown at 9:30pm on September 30.

The movies Happy Life, Secret Reunion, and My Dear Enemy will again hit the big screen on October 1, while Christmas in August, Hwang Jin Yi, and Eternal Hearts are scheduled to be shown on October 2.
