CEBU, Philippines - Top talent manager Wyngard Tracy passed away Tuesday morning due to a heart attack.
Tracy, who was on his 30th year of managing talents, steered the careers of some of the country’s big stars like Lucy Torres, John Estrada, Wendell Ramos, Richard Gomez and Maricel Soriano. His first talent was Basil Valdez. He would accumulate as many as 66 artists under his talent management outfit, ArtistStation.
He started his showbiz career as a production assistant in the 70’s. He became a disc jockey in an FM station. In recent years, Tracy also became a sought-after talent show judge, from ABS-CBN’s “Star in a Million” and “Showtime” to GMA’s “Pinoy Idol”.
In a report by Pep.ph, there would be no wake for Tracy, but “a party”, as per his request when he was still alive.
