Ai-Ai, Erap, Mommy Dionisia in one film

It’s all systems go for Ms. Ai Ai delas Alas and Joseph Estrada’s movie under Star Cinema. Filming of this new film project starts on July 27 under the direction of Wenn Deramas.

Also joining Ai Ai and former president Erap in this comedy film are Toni Gonzaga and Sam Milby.

In the film, Ai Ai will play mother to five boys. One of her sons will be portrayed by AJ Perez, one of the handsome young actors being managed by Star Magic.

Also playing a cameo role in the film is Mommy Dionisia, the famous mother of Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao.

This Ai Ai-Erap film was supposed to be done last year but we heard that Erap didn’t like the first script that was presented to him, hence the delay in the shooting. Since this is going to be Erap’s first film after a long, long while, it is but fitting that it’s a project that is to his liking.

Is singer-actor and Walang Tulugan mainstay PJ Valerio a user? In showbiz parlance, user means someone who hitches his name to a star (normally a big-name star) to gain publicity mileage.

Don’t look now but PJ is said to be going steady already with Queenie Padilla, the daughter of Robin Padilla. The two are said to be going out together and had been spotted quite a number of times dating in the posh Trinoma Mall in Quezon City.

According to a source, the two are not hiding the fact that they are, indeed, going out. Otherwise they would not to go to a mall that is frequented by people.

At first, according to a source, PJ and Queenie tried to go incognito by wearing disguises, hiding their faces by wearing bull caps. But one time, they decided to drop their disguises, thus all the more getting the attention of the crowd who stopped them on their tracks and had pictures taken with them.

PJ had been linked to other girls in one way or another. Like, in the taping of the defunct show Posh, PJ had a not-so unpleasant tiff with Iwa Moto. Then he was rumored to have gone out with Rhian Ramos even if the girl reportedly tried to deny it. There were witnesses, however, who saw them frequenting the UCC Coffee branch in Alabang.

Now comes Queenie. It is true that PJ even dropped by the taping of Totoy Bato to the consternation of the production who politely told him to leave the premises before some press people got wind of his presence.

When a fellow press friend heard that PJ is going out with Queenie, he said, “Ganyan naman si PJ. Lahat nililigawan pero wala naman napapasagot. Baka naman gusto lang niya mapag-usapan kaya nanliligaw siya ng artistang mas sikat sa kanya.”

We wonder how Robin Padilla would react to this news. The action star had already expressed dismay that her daughter is being courted by guys from showbiz—something that he would not want to happen if the action star would have his way.

Meanwhile, PJ and Queenie continue to go out and continue to be seen together.

The Yoyo Tricker Joshua Davis is the youngest Talentadong Pinoy aspirant who entered the Hall of Fame last Saturday. In fairness, Joshua’s yoyo tricks were really amazing and he left the audience, as well as the judges, dumbfounded and in disbelief. It was a proud moment for Joshua and his family since he was able to fulfill his promise to his elder sibling Bugoy that they would audition and compete at Talentadong Pinoy and make it all the way to the Hall of Fame. His brother was not able to join Joshua for the competition as he got sick with brain tumor and died.

Joshua may have lost a loved one, but he gained millions of viewers and fans as Talentadong Pinoy still rules the all-day Saturday programming. It is still number 1 among all shows every Saturday, so the Yoyo Tricker and TV5 are indeed winners.

This Saturday, the Talentadong Pinoy Avengers will try their luck with the entertainment press as their jury. Who among the avengers would have a chance to join the acrobatic Guttierez family, Wan Lu, and Yoyo Tricker in the Hall of Fame? Watch it in the number one talent show in the land, Talentadong Pinoy, 7 p.m. on TV5.
