Kris Aquino’s newest album, The Greatest Love, has earned a gold certification from the Philippine Association of the Record Industry, many thanks to the advance orders and strong sales of this heartfelt album that pays tribute to her mother, former President Corazon Aquino.
The all-star cast of performers in the album include Regine Velasquez and Lani Misalucha (“When You Believe”), Gary Valenciano (“Isn’t She Lovely”), Martin Nievera (“The Greatest Love of All”), Ogie Alcasid (“Sa Ugoy ng Duyan”), Piolo Pascual (“No Matter What”), Mark Bautista (“Because You Loved Me”), JayR (“A Song for Mama”), Jed Madela (“I’m Your Angel”), Ronnie Liang (“Iingatan Ka”), Mcoy Fundales (“Bless the Beast and the Children”), Kris Lawrence (“Thanks to You”), Sam Concepcion (“Mama”), and Billy Crawford (“How Sweet It Is,” the first single).

The Greatest Love album is not only a special tribute to President Aquino, but to all mothers.
Part of the proceeds will be donated to RMD Hope Foundation, the breast awareness foundation of Dr. Romy Diaz, the oncologist of President Aquino, who has been diagnosed with colon cancer. The foundation treats underprivileged breast cancer patients for free and conducts awareness and early detection programs.
Universal Records also plans to release The Greatest Love CD in six Asian countries namely Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.
