Kapuso Stars Brighten Sinulog ‘08 Weekend Celebration

Kapuso stars take some  time off from their busy schedules to join this year’s edition of the most-awaited annual festival in the Queen City of the South—Sinulog!

Revelry starts early for all Kapusong Cebuano as the lively Buena Mano barkada teams up with the Unang Hirit gang at The Basilica, 5:30am this today, January 18.

Expect exciting surprises from Cheryl, Allan, Aljin (Buena Mano), Drew Arellano and Glaiza de Castro (UH) as they make that wake-up call for a special morning treat you should not miss.

On the same day, live feeds on the religious rites at the Basilica del Sto. Niño will be aired on primetime via local newscast Balitang Bisdak with Bobby Nalzaro and later on in 24 Oras with Mike Enriquez and Mel Tiangco.

The fun and entertainment go full swing tomorrow, Saturday, January 19 as no less than Kamandag himself, Richard Gutierrez leads the cast of Kapuso celebrities in the Kapuso Kalingawan celebration at the Gaisano Country Mall.

Gutierrez will be joined by the cast of GMA’s primetime fantaserye Kamandag including Mark Anthony Fernandez, Maxene Magalona, Ehra Madrigal and Jewel Mische in an afternoon of fun, games and Kapuso quality entertainment.

The Kapuso Kalingawan will kick off at 1PM with various games and treats from participating booths available for everyone to participate in and avail.

On January 20, Sunday, GMA Network will air “PIT SEÑOR! A Kapuso Sinulog Celebration,” a live coverage of the culmination of Sinulog festivities.

GMA’s dazzling line-up of primetime celebrities will also take part in the parade to add pomp to an already colorful celebration.
