John Lloyd And Bea: ‘At Their Finest’ In “One More Chance” : ‘Box-office’ team-up to plug 5th movie together at SM City Cebu
The bankable love team of John Lloyd and Bea are heading for the big screen once more as they show their acting best in their latest film outing, “One more Chance!”
In their fifth movie together, John Lloyd and Bea are facing their toughest acting challenge, as “One More Chance” will be a different fare helmed by box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina.
“One More Chance” is a story that revolves around the anatomy of a break-up between two lovers who are in a difficult decision of going through their separate ways and how these problems will affect their lives.
In the film, Basha (Bea Alonzo) and Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) have been going steady for five years. Basha, who wants to spread her wings alone, seems to be ready to give their relationship a rest. What happens next is a journey of how the couple copes, and they move on to the next phase of their lives.
Written by Vanessa Valdez (“A Love Story,” “All About Love,” “You Are The One”) and Carmi Raymundo (“All About Love,” “You Are The One”), the film is a new take on love stories from Star Cinema. It also shows another dimension of John Lloyd and Bea who have grown up before our eyes.
According to direk Cathy Garcia-Molina, “One More Chance” is the film to watch for anyone who has loved and has lost. “The movie is very real, it is a painful journey, but in the end, we can relate to Bea and John Lloyd’s characters in the story as once in our life, we have experienced what they gone through.”
“One More Chance” also features Derek Ramsey, Maja Salvador, Dimples Romana, Nikki Gil, Janus del Prado, and James Blanco. Former Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 housemates Robert Woods and Beatriz Saw will also be introduced in this movie.
As part of the movie promo tour, Bea and John Lloyd will meet their Cebuano fans on Saturday, November 10,
“One More Chance” will open in theaters nationwide starting November 14.
