The tandem of Paolo Bediones and Miriam Quiambao is back as GMA News and Public Affairs' PINOY MEETS WORLD returns to the television screen this Sunday night, 10:30 pm, with a special feature on the exciting world of circus!

Circus, they say, is enjoyed by people of all ages and from all walks of life. So for this Sunday's SNBO special, PINOY MEETS WORLD enters its colorful realm - its exciting circus acts, fearless aerial acrobats, ever funny clowns, undeniably talented jugglers, and of course its trained animals!

Not everybody knows that almost every circus performance requires hours of intense preparations and hard work. Also, not everybody knows that these circus acts can be learned in schools worldwide that offer courses in Circus Performance Acts.

The Circus Center in San Francisco, California is one of these schools and among its trainers includes the husband and wife tandem of Pinoy jugglers! Here, Paolo learns the basics on how to be an acrobat, a juggler and also a clown! Miriam, on the other hand, tries the Flying Trapeze!

PINOY MEETS WORLD will also take a look at the lives of the men and women who have made the circus their home.

Also this Sunday, witness once more the eventful and gripping scenes from the first two weeks of Atlantika, GMA Network's newest primetime telefantasya, in "Atlantika: Ang Simula," a recap special that would air on October 15, Sunday evening, after S-Files (temporarily replacing Ang Mahiwagang Baul and Hoooo U?) due to insistent public demand.

Watch the significant events that led Armando (Ariel Rivera) and his daughter, Amaya (Bianca Pulmano), to the underwater world of Atlantika. Here Armando discovers that he is in fact the royal-blooded Barracud, who was next-in-line to the throne and betrothed to the then future Atlantikan Queen, Celebes (Jean Garcia), before an accident brought him to the world of mortals where he lost his memory and had a child with the human Remedios (Cherry Pie Picache). His rival, Agat (Gardo Versoza), has since then been crowned the King of Atlantika and wed to Celebes.

Meanwhile, Amaya befriends the young Aquano (Renz Valerio), son of the Atlantikan Queen's personal guardian, Ereus (Emilio Garcia). It is Aquano who tells Amaya about Atlantika and discovers that she is Barracud's half-breed daughter who possesses powers unique to an Atlantikan royal. But is there room for a mutant like Amaya in Atlantika?

Also marvel at the elaborate sights in the kingdom of Atlantika and learn the fascinating history of this mysterious domain. This Atlantika recap special will certainly satisfy the viewers' craving for another chance to witness how this beautiful epic began

Later today, local television's resident Imbestigador Mike Enriquez takes a closer look at cockroaches! Often regarded as nothing more than pests, these dirty and disgusting cockroaches have little significance for many but not for a poor family that Imbestigador found in Taluctoc, Nueva Ecija.

For decades now, Joey relies on the creepy creatures for relief from stomachache and rheumatism. When supply is abundant, the cockroaches serve as his daily dose of vitamins. Is Joey's sickening habit actually healthy?

Meanwhile, residents of Biñan, Laguna called Imbestigador's attention to a deserted movie theatre. Not only does it play pirated porn flicks, it has also become a playground for people in search of cheap thrills. After all, thirty pesos is all one needs to enter this motel movie house - attracting even teenage students. What would it take to close down this crude cinema?
