AOC launches new line of power-saving products

CEBU, Philippines - AOC (art of colors), manufacturer of computer display, and its exclusive distributor in the Visayas and Mindanao, MDR Microware Sales Inc., recently launched in Cebu its new line of LED monitors and LCD television at the Cebu City Marriott Hotel last Friday.

AOC, which guarantees power-saving technology, easy-to-use controls and full HD screens with its 3 Es (green, ergonomic and entertaining), is the first to bring the LED monitor to the country.

Tony Lee, AOC’s product development manager for Asia Pacific, said the company’s new line of monitors are equipped with top-of-the-line technology such as the power-saver LED backlight, navi-ring to replace the modern remote control, and multiple input connections for “the gamer in everyone.”

He said AOC also continues to make safer and more efficient products that are environment-friendly with its green monitors—Luvia, Eco 7, and MASKK. These three monitors are equipped with the LED backlight technology with reduces toxic waste production and the automatic power-off timer lessens energy consumption.

Daniel Lagdameo, sales and business development manager in the Philippines, said AOC’s monitors are not only manufactured for a greener environment as these also have other features such as the i-care found in Luvia, which detects the intensity of available and adjusts the monitor’s brightness automatically for maximum eye strain protection. The Luvia also features an ultra slim crystal frame design that can be decorated with pop art stickers.

He said other AOC monitors have their own functions that contribute to the green campaign. Eco 7’s infra-red sensor detects user presence in front of monitor and automatically turns off the monitor to save power when user is absent while MASKK ‘s optional glass screen protects LCD from dust and scratches is best for Internet café use.
