CEBU, Philippines - Home-grown company, PriSolutions Corp., has decided to join the pharmaceutical industry, by establishing the Three sixty (360) chain of pharmacies, after seeing the need for easy access to both generic and branded medicine in the country.
Company spokesperson Carlo Yap told The Freeman in an interview that the company has been planning this new business venture since September last year. It allocated around P100 million for the opening of its pilot 360 branches in Cebu.
PriSolutions simultaneously opened ten 360 pharmacies in strategic places all over Cebu yesterday. These are located in Orchard Arcade in Mambaling, Marina Mall in Mactan, Southgate mall in Mactan Export Processing Zone 2, Lapu-Lapu City, AS Fortuna St., Mandaue, AC Cortez, Pardo, Guadalupe, Colon and Talisay.
Yap said the simultaneous opening of the ten 360 branches is aimed at establishing an impact that PriSolutions is not just one pharmacy but a chain of pharmacy. The company plans to open 40 more branches in Cebu within the year and 310 more branches in Mindanao and Luzon.
PriSolutions aims to have 360 branches all over the country in its chain in nine years-time. The pharmacy name is taken from the company’s “complete or 360-degree turn from being in the food business into the pharmacy business.”
PriSolutions is in the business of food manufacturing and distribution of consumer goods.
