Taking into account the shift of consumers’ preference towards health and wellness products and services, Ayala Center Cebu steps up to become not only just a shopping and lifestyle facility, but also into a total wellness destination.
ACC recently ushered in its formal support towards “pink health” through the kick-off of its month-long “Think Pink” campaign, which is an awareness program for the whole month of October that encourages everyone to be in the "pink of health."
"Spurred with the onset of associating the color with cancer awareness, the significance of pink has transcended to the individual's overall healthy lifestyle,” said Joy Polloso, ACC business development head.
For the entire month of October, the mall is adhering to its "Think Pink" theme to jumpstart the mall's positioning as destination for wellness products and services, specifically if the new wing of the mall called "Terraces" will be opened few weeks from now.
ACC has created a wellness zone in the "Terraces", previously the lagoon area, wherein a breed of wellness outlets will be opened such as Spas, among others. In fact, Polloso said health supplement called "Healthy Options" will be opening its biggest store in the Terraces.
ACC's "Think Pink" campaign, aims to promote a holistic lifestyle through good food, great fashion, and healthy living.
The P600 million project, which converted the lagoon area of the mall to a total lifestyle destination is considered as "one of its kind" destination in Cebu, as it will provide a "resort-feel" ambiance in the middle of shopping and business district, boosting its positioning as the premier lifestyle and wellness destination here.
According to Polloso, there is a strong interest now of shoppers to go for healthy-related products and services.
In 2007, ACC registered gross revenue of P427.7 million, seven percent higher than previous year, as a result of higher sales per square meter, rental rate increases, and remarkable lease occupancy. – Ehda M. Dagooc
