UST spearheads 1st Collaborative Online International Learning

 MANILA, Philippines — The University of Santo Tomas (UST) is on its way in internationalizing the institution’s Nursing program through the very first Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL). Conducted last Mar. 25, the said program will run through a two-month long program until May 10, 2018 between University of Washington (Bothell) USA and the university’s nursing program. COIL, an online course, aims to provide opportunities to reflect on nursing practice and professionalism in the country, encourage collaborative problem-solving task completion by exploring shared interest in the field, and foster respect and appreciation of multi-cultural perspectives in anticipation of working in a diverse professional work environments.
