Globe unveils new device line-up for upgraded postpaid experience

MANILA, Philippines - With smartphone penetration growing at a steady pace in the country, Globe Telecom has launched its latest roster of devices with its fully customizable mySUPERPLAN, bringing the postpaid experience to a whole new level.

Packed with powerful features, the three handsets enable new postpaid users to upgrade the mobile experience beyond calls and texts.

First on the telco’s newest device portfolio is the Globe Long Term Evolution (LTE)-exclusive Huawei Ascend G526 LTE free at Plan 499, the lowest and most affordable LTE postpaid plan available in the market today.

The device boasts of a 4.5-inch QHD IPS capacitive touch screen, 5MP main camera with autofocus and LED flash, dual-core 1.2GHZ, and 1950mAh battery life with unique power-saving technology, allowing users to experience super fast LTE browsing and video streaming of up to 42 Mbps.

The postpaid plan comes with a monthly consumable amount that can be used to avail oneself of call, text, and surfing services.

For subscribers who want access to local TV channels and shows on their mobile, the Globe-exclusive device Cloudfone Excite 451TV is available free at Plan 599, complete with unlimited calls and text messages to Globe/TM and free unlimited TV anytime, anywhere.

The Cloudfone Excite 451TV has a 4.5-inch full touch screen, built-in mobile TV, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 5MP rear camera with flash, front camera and 1.3GHz dual-core processor.

Finally, users into gaming can avail themselves of the Globe LTE-exclusive device Nokia Lumia 1320 LTE free at Plan 1299, allowing them to play top XBOX games such as Assassin’s Creed, NBA JAM, and SIMs Medieval, among others.

The postpaid plan is bundled with free calls and text messages to all networks as well as mobile surfing services with speeds of up to 42 Mbps.

With better graphics and gameplay, the Nokia Lumia 1320 LTE is packed with features such as a 6-inch Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Clear Black and super-sensitive touch screen, dual-core 1.7GHz, 5MP main camera sensor, LED flash, auto focus with two-stage capture key, and game features such as DirectX 11, Touch UI, and XBox-Live Hub.

All postpaid plan offers for the new devices are bundled with one-month free Globe Gadget Care, the most comprehensive mobile phone protection against theft, robbery, and accidental damage in the market today.
