Globe Store-on-the-Go rolls in unique store experience

MANILA, Philippines - As part of its thrust on superior customer experience, Globe Telecom expands its reach to customers with instant access to telecom services with its “Store-on-the-Go” concept, which greted subscribers in Rosario, Batangas recently.

The Globe Store-on-the-Go offers subscribers and new customers the same shopping experience as when visiting a concept store. It is a fully functioning mobile store that is deployed in far-flung areas where customers need Globe services.

The Globe Store-on-the-Go also receives new postpaid and broadband plan applications and allows for instant processing to fulfill new handsets and devices right there and then. Customers can also inquire about the latest postpaid and broadband promos with the assistance of the Globe Store retail staff.

“Our goal is to bring Globe products and services closer to subscribers with our innovative store formats like the Globe Microstore, Kiosk, and now, the Globe Store-on-the-Go. With our mobile telco store, we are able to reach more customers and offer them our wide array of postpaid, prepaid and broadband offers, as well as access to our customer service for after-sales concerns. They don’t have to make an extra effort just to be able to transact with Globe because a Globe Store is actually roving around within their vicinity, ready to serve them with a smile,” said Globe retail transformation and management head Joe Caliro.

Caliro added: “We look forward to rolling out more Globe Store-on-the-Go in more areas nationwide so that more subscribers, especially in the regions and provinces can enjoy Globe, their way.”

According to Globe retail area head for South Luzon 2 Joseph Isla, the Globe Store-on-the-Go was a big hit during its first rollout in Rosario, Batangas.

“We are happy that the Globe Store-on-the-Go was warmly received. With numerous inquiries coupled with sales transactions we are getting a total of over 100 transactions a day,” Isla said.

“Unlike other rolling stores that seem like big showrooms, the Globe Store-on-the-Go is a fully functioning one-stop-shop telco store that is designed to provide the same experience to our customers who don’t have immediate access to Globe services. The Globe Store-on-the-Go is now at Citimart in Bauan, Batangas until tomorrow.
