Samsung phones grab highest market share in Phl

- The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Samsung has grabbed the highest market share in unit and value sales in the Philippines.

According to GfK Retail and Technology Philippines Ltd., one of the world’s leading market research groups, this research covers the period of July 2011 to June this year.

Market research findings such as these echo trends in the purchasing market whose buying actions only reflect the quality they get from the products they purchase.

Evidently, for smartphones, Samsung is the brand to have. Such growth may have been expected since the brand released the Samsung Galaxy series — the new breed of smartphones designed by humans for humans.

Samsung has always been eyeing more growth in the market, especially with the release of the Samsung Galaxy S III, the smartphone that goes head to head with the Apple iPhone. The Android-ran platform allows more flexibility for its users.

This leap in the market is a success Samsung is not shy to share. So, as a gesture of thanks to the public for their continuous support for the brand, Samsung is having a “Thank You Sale.”

Until Sept. 2, you can purchase your choice Samsung mobile phones at great discounts with exciting freebies.

One can own a Samsung Galaxy for as low as P4,790. Also, during the sale period, the latest Samsung Galaxy S III comes with a free Enjoy Club membership and a case protector.

Other Samsung mobile brands are also offered at specially discounted rates.
